Behaviour Consultation
Behaviour Consultations are for owners experiences behavioural issues with their dogs, for example:
- Resource guarding
- Dog to dog aggression
- Dog to human aggression
- Separation-anxiety based problems
- Noise phobias
- Destructive behaviours
- Stereotypes
- Excessive barking
- Handling issues
Please Note: Many behavioural problems may be caused by a physical issue. Please ensure your dog has been checked by your veterinarian prior to attending a consultation, who has completed our veterinary referral form (please email for form).
Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, behaviour consultants are available remotely. If attending a session in person all consultations will be delivered in accordance to social distancing guidelines.
How Does It Work?
- Initial email contact to discuss your individual requirements
- You will be sent out a pre-consultation questionnaire to be completed at least 3 days prior to your first consultation
- An initial consultation will be arranged (approx. 2 hours) to provide a full assessment
- 2x follow-up consultations will take place, typically around 10 days apart
- We will help you understand your dog’s behavioural issues and provide an accurate diagnosis
- You will be guided through a thorough behaviour modification programme
- Email support will be available during the consultation process and up to 6 weeks after your last consultation.
